More About Me

Growing up in a small town in Central Illinois, I always loved music. I’ve been in choir for as long as I can remember, so it made sense when I chose to pursue music further.

Starting at Illinois Central College in fall 2017, I studied music and was involved in Vocal Jazz, Chamber Singers, and Concert Choir. In fall 2019 I made the decision to transfer to Millikin University to earn my Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music.

During my time at Millikin, I had the opportunity to work as a Millitrax studio manager, recital crew manager, and a member of the Millikin Audio Recording Service (MARS). I was also involved in Sigma Alpha Iota, Pi Beta Phi, University Choir, BluBop Vocal Jazz, and Dissonance A Capella.

I had the opportunity to intern at Rock Solid Studio in Dunlap, Illinois, in the summer of 2022. I also found a love for rock climbing, joined the Peoria Area Civic Chorale, and adopted three adorable cats.

I worked as an audio production and voice instructor at Guitar Center, as well as a remote position working as a publicist and creative assistant for a musician based in California. I’ve begun collaborating more with other musicians in the area. “More Than You Can” by Risker, mixed by me, was released recently and more projects will come out in the near future.

From fall 2023 to spring 2024, I served as a board member for the Peoria Area Civic Chorale (PACC).

In the summer of 2024, my boyfriend and I made a big move to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, for a promotion and new work opportunities. The area is beautiful, and there are so many wonderful people here. It was incredibly bittersweet for me to say (a temporary) goodbye to friends, family, and the many voice and piano students that I saw grow and develop musically, but I’m excited for what Wisconsin has to offer. In the few months that we’ve been here, I’ve joined two choirs (The Master Singers and Chorale Nouveau) and found a new job in the corporate world! I may have a regular 9 to 5 now, but I'm committed to still being involved with music and growing as a musician. My goal for next year is to produce more of my own songs, and ideally, write some of my own songs. And as always, I’m always looking for more musicians to collaborate with!

In summer 2025, I accepted the role of Vice President for the Master Singers. I’m very excited to take what I’ve learned from many years in choir and help a community organization I’m very passionate about.
